Join your hosts Stephen, Maria and the latest addition to the Jackson family, Henry, as we show you around Witham Barn at our family run Mill Farm.
We opened Witham Barn in 2003 and have been welcoming guests from around the world ever since. We are delighted to receive many return visits from guests each year, and look forward to welcoming many more in the future.
We are usually 'on hand' throughout your stay and are more than happy to help with any requests to make your stay with us even more enjoyable. Witham Barn is semi-detached from the main farmhouse so assistance is never far away. We are happy to help with any requests from recommending a restaurant or giving directions to the local attractions. Many complimentary entries have been entered into our visitor's book; we hope that you too will have an enjoyable stay with us here on the farm.
Entrance Lobby and Conservatory
We start the guided tour here at the entrance courtyard. In addition to the car parking area, there are three garages adjacent for under cover storage. The main entrance lobby also includes a conservatory area; an ideal place to relax for a chat during the evenings, or perhaps to plan the next days activities.
The Lounge
A lovely place to unwind after a busy day, the full height picture windows offer an unrestricted view over the rolling Witham Valley to the north. When it gets dark simply draw the curtains, stoke up the traditional woodburner and choose from watching the latest film on the DVD player or simply watch whatever is on the TV. The original wooden beams of the barn together with the traditional wood burner combine to provide Witham Barn with it's own unique charm. This is combined with modern conveniences such as full central heating to ensure that your stay with us is as comfortable as possible.
Lounge and Patio Area
The lounge opens onto the flagged stone patio area; the perfect spot to unwind with a drink before dinner and watch the sun gradually sink behind Witham Valley. This is also the ideal place for an alfresco lunch and watch farm life pass by. The hot tub was installed during 2006 and has proved extremely popular with our guests!
The Dining Area
All meals are an occasion at Witham Barn! In the evening the dining area is the hive of activity as you discuss the day's adventures over a home cooked meal in the tranquility of the Lincolnshire countryside. The farmhouse table comfortably seats six people, but is provided with extension pieces for additional guests or perhaps to make room for that special banquet!
Sit down to your meals in the dining area and enjoy the vista of the rolling Witham Valley from the picture windows.
The Kitchen
The fully fitted kitchen provides every essential item for self catering during your stay, right down to the fold-out ironing board!
Everything you need is within easy reach in the kitchen area. All crockery, cutlery and essential cooking implements are provided within the modern units.
